Important information about your stay
Please note: Always on Tuesdays and Wednesdays we have a day off** in our restaurant, which is why you will receive dinner at our partner hotel ****Waldhotel am Notschreipass (free shuttle service will be gladly offered upon request). Should you arrive on one of these two days, you will receive the room key from 5 pm at the Waldhotel. If you arrive before 5 pm, check-in takes place directly at the Grüner Baum.
Rest days / Hotel Garni: Please note that we have from 01.-05.12.2024 + 08.-12.12.2023 Hotel Garni or additional rest days in the restaurant. During this time, our restaurant is only open for breakfast and you will benefit in return from particularly favorable conditions. If you would still like to book with half board, dinner will take place in our partner hotel 2.5 km away, the Waldhotel am Notschreipass and you will receive a free shuttle service to the Waldhotel (even if you want to dine there a la carte) for the 2.5km distance with individual return service.

What do B&B, half board and ¾-Pension mean?
You have the choice between the following catering options:
B&B = bed and breakfast
Half board = Overnight stay with half board, breakfast and 3-course evening menu (tapas starter variation & soup, three main courses to choose from (meat, fish and vegetarian) and dessert)
¾ Board: breakfast, lunch snack or hot drink and cake and 3-course evening menu (tapas appetiser variation & soup, three main courses to choose from (meat, fish and vegetarian) and dessert) -
What is the non-refundable rate?
With the non-refundable rate you can book our hotel at a reasonable price. You save 7.5% compared to the flexible rate. This rate cannot be cancelled free of charge from the date of booking. The full room rate is due immediately after booking. In the event of cancellation, a cancellation fee of 90% will be charged.

What are the prices for children?
Children under 4 years stay with us free of charge. We charge a surcharge for children aged four and over. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require a baby cot for your child. Otherwise we will arrange an extra bed for your child. You can find more information about our great family offers here.

When is the spa area open?
Sauna and steam bath opening hours
14.00-18.00 hrs
The infrared cabin, the experience shower, the winter garden relaxation room and the fitness room are at your disposal all day long.
As our guests at the Grüner Baum, you can also use the spa area with indoor pool at our partner hotel, Waldhotel am Notschreipass, free of charge between 8am and 2pm and 6pm and 9.30pm.

Book wellness treatments
Our wellness appointments take place at our partner hotel, the Waldhotel am Notschreipass, 2.5 kilometres away.
We recommend that you book your desired treatments in advance, as we may not have any free appointments if you enquire on site. If you have booked an offer with included treatments, we will automatically reserve the dates for you.
As we schedule wellness appointments from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival, please let us know if you will be arriving later.

May I book your hotel with my dog?
Dogs are very welcome here. When making your reservation, please let us know if and how many dogs you are bringing. For one dog we charge 15€ per night, for 2 dogs it is 25€ per night without food. Please bring your own dog basket or dog blanket. Your dog is welcome to accompany you to the restaurant. Dogs are only not allowed in the wellness area and at the buffet in the restaurant.

Car parks and e-charging stations
Free parking is available in front of the hotel. The hotel has 4 e-charging stations. You are welcome to charge your car there via your app, etc.
*For a cancellation of our flexible rate in the free period, we reserve the right to charge an expense fee of € 50, -. This is justified by the fact that wage costs have arisen due to the processing of a reservation.
**During holiday periods (especially Shrove Tuesday and Christmas), the rest days may also be cancelled, whereas we reserve the right to postpone the rest days or introduce additional rest days during less busy periods.
