Naturparkhotel Grüner Baum

We cater for your individual allergies both in the restaurant and in the rooms. Please let us know when you book so that we can prepare everything for you in advance.  
We will be happy to prepare a lactose-free / gluten-free ... menu for you.
For house dust allergy sufferers, we will gladly equip your beds with allergy-suffering bed linen.

You are welcome to travel by public transport. Coming from Freiburg, please take the regional train to Kirchzarten. There, take bus line 7215 in the direction of Todtnau and get off at the Grüner Baum bus stop. Our hotel is 50 m away from the bus stop. Coming from Todtnau, please take bus line 7215 in the direction of Freiburg. Please get off at the bus stop Grüner Baum and you will be directly in front of our hotel.

Arrival: Our rooms are available from 2.30 pm on the day of arrival.
Departure: Please vacate your room by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible in consultation with the reception and for an additional charge depending on occupancy. If you would like to use the wellness area again after departure, please take your wellness bag with you and return it to reception later.

A table is always reserved for our house guests for dinner in the restaurant. We have warm cuisine from 12:00-21:30. 
For half board, the meal times are from 18:00 - 19:30.
You are welcome to join us for dinner even if you are not a hotel guest. We ask you to reserve a table for this under 07671918440.

Your stay with us is bindingly secured. The due date for payment is as follows. We kindly ask you to transfer the amount of at least 50% of the total amount as a deposit within 7 days to the account no.:

Please state the following reference when making the transfer: "AZ GB, your date of arrival, your name" The remaining payment is to be made on departure on site in cash or by EC card/Maestro.
Alternatively, you are welcome to provide us with your credit card details. We will not charge the card, it only serves as security for us.

Towels as well as bath towels and bathrobe are available in your room.
Small cosmetic products are available for you in the bathroom.

Unfortunately, our hotel is not barrier-free. The rooms are all on the 1st or 2nd floor and we do not have a lift. 

You can pay us in cash, with EC card or also with VISA/Master card.
Please note that we cannot accept banknotes larger than 200€.

Bathrobes are provided for you in the room. There are also plenty of towels in the bathroom. Sauna towels are available for you in the wellness area.

We are happy to provide our guests with mountain e-bikes as well as normal mountain bikes on loan, they are available at the Waldhotel am Notschreipass.  
Please have them reserved for you at the reception.

A small fitness room is available in the wellness area.

You are welcome to purchase vouchers from us. You are welcome to do this directly via our homepage or contact us by telephone on 07602/94200.
If you have a voucher from us, you are welcome to redeem it with us. Please hand it in at the reception on arrival.

Dogs are welcome to stay with us. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you are bringing a dog.
We charge 15€ per night for your dog without food and ask you to bring a dog basket/blanket yourself. Dogs are not allowed in the wellness area.

Free W-LAN is available throughout the house.

The visitor's tax is €2.90 per person per day (from 17 years).
Children from 6-16 years are charged 1€ per night. Upon arrival, you will receive the Konus Card, which allows you to use public transport free of charge.

In winter, several cross-country trails of varying difficulty start around the hotel and will delight every cross-country skier.

Free parking spaces are available around the house.

Our restaurant has a continuous hot kitchen from 12:00 to 21:30.

When booking directly via our website, the ski pass for the Muggenbrunn ski centre is included free of charge for stays of 2 nights or more.
Some of the ski lifts are easily accessible on foot or by public transport.

We recommend that you book wellness appointments in advance, as we cannot guarantee that we will still have free appointments if you enquire on site.
If you have booked an offer with included treatments, we will automatically reserve appointments for you.

Our wellness area is open daily from 14:30 -17:30.
You are also welcome to use the wellness area of the Waldhotel (2.5 km away).
There you will find a textile area, a panoramic indoor pool, an infrared salt cabin, a steam bath, a relaxation sauna and a relaxation room.
The sauna house with Finnish sauna and herbal sauna as well as the wellness garden are available to you in the textile-free area. The opening hours of the wellness area there are also from 07:30 - 21:30.

Please note that we always have our restaurant rest days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On these days you will receive your dinner at our partner hotel, the Waldhotel am Notscheipass, which is 2.5 km away (free shuttle transfer is provided by us).
In the period from 21.11.22 to 10.12.22 we run our hotel as a Hotel Garni from Monday to Friday, which means that in this period the restaurant is only open for breakfast. If you book half-board, you will receive your dinner at the partner hotel ****Waldhotel am Notschreipass, 2.5 km away.
Please note that you will also receive your room key at ****Waldhotel if you arrive on a day of rest or at Hotel Garni time.
